The Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP) is seeking to engage with a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) volunteer.
The fully remote project would last four months, beginning March 15, 2024, with work scope completion by mid-July 2024. The volunteer will review CTIPP written documents, to date, and identify themes regarding organizational values and corresponding behaviors. The DEIJ committee will be actively involved in supporting this process.
Preferred Skills: Able to synthesize information to identify themes that indicate organizational values
Desired Outcome: Based on existing materials we hope to have a draft of 1_ 3-5 values and 2) list any operationalized - behaviors that demonstrate this value at the organizational level
The volunteer is not expected to come up with values and behaviors but instead review materials to see if/how we have already identified these. If no themes identify CTIPP’s organizational values, we will use this information to begin developing our values.
CTIPP's mission is to create a healthy, just, resilient, and trauma-informed society where all individuals, families, and communities have the social, political, cultural, economic, and spiritual opportunities and support necessary to thrive.
The DEIJ Committee is charged with advising CTIPP on considerations related to its internal policies and procedures as well as its public policy process and practice recommendations. This work aims to ensure that CTIPP's agenda and priorities reflect its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Please submit your resume to CTIPP Executive Director, Jesse Kohler jesse@ctipp.org.
