CTIPP Community Action Network (CAN): 2024 Advocacy Series
Developing the trauma-informed movement through consistent networking, resource-sharing, and educational opportunities to advance policies and practices nationwide.
CHALLENGE:
From growing political division and poor health outcomes to economic instability and rising suicide rates, our nation faced a critical junction in 2024.
CTIPP CAN launched a new program format for September - December that met the moment through trauma-informed advocacy to build hope, healing, and transformational resilience.
The sum of our efforts is always greater than the parts. Now more than ever, the trauma-informed movement must raise our collective voice so policymakers can hear and consider our holistic solutions to some of our nation’s most pressing challenges.
OBJECTIVE:
Participants engaged in networking, resource-sharing, and educational opportunities to advance trauma-informed policies and practices nationwide.
This series emphasized collaboration through breakout groups and comprehensive learning experiences.
The first Wednesday of the month offered office hours with CTIPP Executive Director Jesse Kohler (optional), and the third Wednesday featured a presentation, reflection, breakout groups, and discussion.
