Session 1: Meeting the Moment

MEETING THE MOMENT: While trauma-informed efforts are necessary at a number of levels, trauma-informed advocates have an opportunity to help bring healing to the traumas our systems have and continue to experience. This session will outline how trauma is permeating our society and why being congruent with the trauma-informed model is critical as we promote systems transformation. This presentation will provide a common language and understanding from which we will build skills as trauma-informed advocates together.

The first Wednesday of the month will feature office hours with CTIPP Executive Director Jesse Kohler (from 2-4pmET), and the third Wednesday of the month will feature our traditional CTIPP CAN format of a presentation, reflection, breakout groups, and discussion.
